Anime fans around the world are gearing up to celebrate the upcoming 21st anniversary of the Please Teacher! TV anime and the 20th anniversary of its sequel TV anime series, Please Twins! The occasion is marked by a special screening of Please Teacher! at Shinjuku Wald 9 on March 30th, and fans can expect to see director Yasunori Ide and voice actor Kikuko Inoue, who voices Mizuho Kazami in Please Teacher!, in attendance. Please Twins! is a sequel to Please Teacher! and follows the story of Maiku Kamishiro, who is searching for his family. He is living alone in a house that his mother left him, but he is not sure if he is living in the right house. Miina Miyafuji and Karen Onodera, two girls who look exactly like Maiku, show up at his doorstep, claiming to be his long-lost twin sisters. This creates a complicated love triangle that must be resolved.
