The 12th compiled volume of Aki Iwai’s manga “Abe-kun’s Got Me Now!” has recently announced that the series will conclude with its 13th volume, scheduled for release in February 2024.
This marks a significant turning point as the manga reached its climax within the pages of the 12th volume.

Iwai initially launched this engaging series on the Palcy manga app hosted by pixiv in 2018. Subsequently, Kodansha USA Publishing took the initiative to digitally publish the manga in June 2020.
The story follows Akari, who held a rather low opinion of her school’s karate champion, Abe-kun, despite his national championship status.
To her, he appeared colossal, uncultured, and a world apart from her gentle angelic childhood friend, Takuto. However, when Abe-kun sustains an injury while protecting her, Akari takes it upon herself to ensure his recovery, recognizing that the school’s pride is on the line. Unexpectedly, the dynamic shifts when Abe-kun confesses his feelings for her.
