The story revolves around the life of a gamer boy named Haruo Yaguchi.Further more is so obssesed with plyaing games that he forgets the whole world while doing it. Consequently his grades in school drops and in addition to that he does not even have any friends. This series is known as 90’s arcade romantic comedy. It has uniques art style. And furthermore it thoroughly depicts the accurate multitude of gaming software, hardware and even culture that are featured.

Compassion & Obsession

The main character Haruo in this series have some serious compassion and obsession for arcade gaming. In addition to that he continuously try to find cheap gaming parlor in order to play game when ever he have less money. There are many occasions in the series where he prefer to spend money on games rather on food. His main hobby is to set high record on all gaming machines. Moreover the things get super hilarious when some girl who study in same class as his beat his all records. In addition to that no matter how hard he tries he is never able to beat that girl in any arcade game.

First Step Of love Is Fight

Haruo rules the world of arcade as ” Beastly Fingers Haruo“, until he meet Akira Ono. Akria beats him constantly in famous arcade game “Street Fighter 2“. This hurt Haruo’s ego badly and in that instance he made his life goal to beat Ono. And during the school time they start to spend much time together going to game parlors and playing games. And as said you fell in love with someone you spend a lot of time. Finaaly due to some reasons Ono shifts to America which not only breaks Haruo’s heart but also makes him realize that he have special feeling for her.

Love Triangle

Koharu Hidaka is the third lead character in this series who is very introvert girl. But she fell in love with Haruo. Furthermore she realize that in order to get his attention she will have to be better in arcade video games. She got some serious natural talent for that and soon she also started beating Haruo in arcade games. Consequently whole series goes on with fun filled interaction between these three.

In The Nut Shell

This whole series is filled with some serious gaming along with super hilarious characters. Even the characters from Street Fighters 2 also appears some time. If You are fan of 90’s game like The King Of Fighters, Samurai Shodown, Street fighters etc. You are going to love this warm hearted Anime which is currently streaming on Netflix.
