Aoi Yūki Embarks on Musical Journey Again

Voice actress and singer Aoi Yūki has announced her return to the music scene as a solo artist this year, marking the end of her hiatus, which began in 2017. Yūki revealed that her inspiration for new music may stem from messages received on her Discord server.

Explaining her decision, Yūki expressed that after her most recent “petit” album, Tokowaka no Kuni, she felt she had achieved her objectives and didn’t want to continue merely out of habit.

She believes that moving forward would be a disservice to her dedicated supporters who have cheered her on until now.

“When I initially embarked on my journey as a solo artist, my aim was always to sing songs from my own perspective, not as a voice actress portraying a character,” Yūki reminisced. “With the unwavering support of everyone and the collaborative efforts of the team, my artistic vision gradually took shape, and I persevered until Tokowaka no Kuni.”
