
An animation project of “Bartender” by Araki Jo and drawn by Kenji Nagatomo has started. “Bartender” was serialized in Super Jump and Grand Jump (both Shueisha) from 2004 to 2012.
The main character is Tame Sasakura, a young genius bartender called “God’s Glass”, and the people who come to the bar in Ginza where he started working are depicted with various circumstances and ways of life.
In addition, a project to support “BAR Katsu”, an activity to enjoy bars and alcohol casually, has also started. Various projects are being considered to spread the charm of the world of bars and alcohol, with the animation of “Bartender” as a trigger.
As part of this, a community called BAR-Katsu BASE was launched for all people who want to enjoy bars and alcohol. Other Ranjan! For a limited time until November 10th, 2 volumes of “Bartender” are available for free.
Situated in the Ginza district of Tokyo is the Eden Hall, a quiet bar that few people manage to come across. It is run by the legendary bartender Ryu Sasakura, a genius at mixing the right drink for the right customer. Throughout his period at Eden Hall, customers from all walks of life, carrying all sorts of burdens, arrive for a godly glass at the Hall and a kind word with Ryu, both of which assist in clearing their problems up and reviving them for another go at life.
