The theatrical production will feature Kazuaki Yasue in the role of Kiyoka Kudo. This play will unfold a unique narrative centered around Kudo’s experiences within a distinct unit, stationed at the extraordinary Okutsuki cemetery, where individuals with exceptional abilities find solace.

Agitogi and Tsukioka initiated the novel series back in January 2019, captivating readers with their imaginative storytelling. Yen Press has obtained the rights to publish the light novels, offering a captivating depiction of the plot:

Hailing from a prestigious lineage, Miyo endures a wretched upbringing under her cruel stepmother. Eventually wedded to Kiyoka, an unfeeling warrior whose former betrotheds fled within three days of their engagement, she finds herself devoid of a sanctuary to retreat to. However, in the face of their tumultuous first encounter, Miyo gradually unveils the possibility of kindling affection within her frosty, enigmatic suitor. Against all odds, this encounter may serve as the gateway to discovering genuine love and unbounded bliss.

Rito Kohsaka’s manga adaptation made its debut on Square Enix’s Gangan Online website in December 2018. The manga is being released in English physically and digitally by Square Enix Manga & Books.

Following its release on March 17, the live-action film adaptation of the novels achieved tremendous success in Japan. Securing the top spot during its opening weekend, the film garnered an impressive 479,700 ticket sales, accumulating a staggering 654 million yen (approximately US$4.97 million) within its first three days.

Exciting news awaits fans as a television anime adaptation of the novels is set to premiere on July 5. Netflix has also secured the streaming rights for the series, making it available to a global audience from the same date.
