The final chapter of Ayumi Komura’s manga, “Kachime ga nai no wa Oredake ka!” (Am I the Only One With No Chance of Winning?), was published in Kodansha’s Shonen Magazine Edge’s July issue this year. The manga’s conclusive third volume is set to be released by Kodansha on August 17.

Komura made her debut with this manga in Shonen Magazine Edge in May 2022. The second compiled volume of the series was published by Kodansha on April 17. This “first love revenge romantic comedy” marked Komura’s inaugural serialization in a shonen magazine.
In November 2021, Komura launched “Ichijō-san wa Are ga Gaman Dekinai” (Ichijo Can’t Withstand That) in Julian Publishing’s Pur Comics digital manga magazine.
Viz Media published Komura’s manga, “Mixed Vegetables,” both in print and digitally in North America. The American Library Association’s Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) division recognized the first volume of “Mixed Vegetables” among its esteemed “great graphic novels for teens” published in 2009.
Furthermore, Komura’s manga, “Kami-sama no Ekohiiki” (Favoritism of the Gods), inspired a live-action series adaptation that premiered on Hulu in March 2022.
