In this week’s 45th edition of Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine, it was officially announced that Sōichirō Yamamoto’s manga “When Will Ayumu Make His Move?” will be concluding its run in just five more chapters.

Published in English by Kodansha USA Publishing, this manga offers readers an enticing blend of the classic will-they-won’t-they romance trope, courtesy of the renowned creator of “Teasing Master Takagi-san.”

The story revolves around Ayumu, who finds himself deeply infatuated with his senpai, Yaotome. However, he has made a solemn vow not to confess his feelings until he can outsmart her in the intricate game of shogi. The catch? His affection for Yaotome is strikingly evident to her, and she can’t resist the temptation to playfully manipulate him into breaking his pledge.
