Mark your calendars for October 9 as the manga’s live-action incarnation debuts on TV Tokyo’s Drama Premium 23 programming block at precisely 11:06 p.m. JST.

The journey of “Annoying and Cunning Sisters” began in August 2021, when Battan introduced it within the pages of Kodansha’s Kiss magazine. Fans can anticipate the concluding volume, the fifth compilation, to hit the shelves on October 13 courtesy of Kodansha.

At the heart of the manga’s narrative lie Jun and her younger sibling Ran. Separated due to Ran’s spouse Ritsu, who incidentally was once Jun’s paramour, the two sisters find themselves reunited after an eight-year estrangement, prompted by the passing of their mother. An intriguing twist of fate leads them to cohabitate, and in this shared space, the intricate mechanisms of love begin to stir.

Battan, known for their manga “Run Away With Me, Girl” (Kakeochi Girl), had previously embarked on a creative journey in Kodansha’s now-defunct Hatsu Kiss digital manga magazine in October 2018. The tale concluded in February 2020, with Kodansha releasing the third and final compiled volume in December 2021.
