Yōko Kanemori, known for her directorial work on popular anime such as The Ancient Magus’ Bride and Attack on Titan episodes, has taken the helm as the director for the anime produced by PINE JAM. Joining the team, Kazuyuki Fudeyasu, renowned for his exceptional scripts in anime like That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Dropkick on My Devil!, and In the Land of Leadale, will be responsible for crafting the series’ compelling narratives.
Assisting in character design are the talented Toshiya Kōno, recognized for his outstanding work on Schwarzes Marken sub-character designs, and Satoshi Furuhashi, who previously contributed to Comet Lucifer with his exceptional prop design skills. Adding to the artistic brilliance, the music for the series will be composed by the esteemed Masaru Yokoyama, known for his remarkable compositions in Queen’s Blade: The Exiled Virgin and Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans.
The manga made its debut on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ platform in Japan on April 4, 2019. Following this, Shueisha’s MANGA Plus service introduced the English version in October of the same year. Garnering an impressive 200 million views, the manga has already amassed 11 volumes.
Haruhara’s Senyū. manga served as the inspiration for two television anime series in 2013, both of which were streamed by Crunchyroll during their original airing in Japan. Additionally, Haruhara’s Gakumon! Ōkami Shōjo wa Kujikenai manga led to the creation of a Flash anime in 2014.

In January 2018, Haruhara unveiled the captivating Suginami Tōbatsu Kōmuin – Dungeon Kinmu no Hitobito (Suginami, Public Servant and Eliminator – The People on Dungeon Duty) on Shonen Jump+. Concluding its run, the fourth and final volume of this manga was published by Shueisha on April 4.
