Bleach 1000 Year Blood War Anime Arc New Info to be Revealed at Jump Festa 2022

Aniplex announced today that “Super Stage EX ‘BLEACH'” will take place on December 18, 2021, 18:00 (JST) / 01:00 (PT), as a special program of JUMP FESTA 2022. New information on the The long-awaited Thousand-Year Blood War arc from the Bleach TV anime series will finally be revealed at the event. Also, more details about the original art exhibition “BLEACH EX”. and Bleach manga author Tite Kubo’s official fan club, “Klub Outside” will also be released.

Bleach, Tite Kubo’s sword fighting battle action manga, was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from August 2001 to August 2016. Even after its conclusion, the series continues to enjoy widespread popularity throughout the world. As part of the manga’s 20th anniversary project, the television anime adaptation of the manga’s final arc was announced in March 2020.

JUMP FESTA 2022 will be held at Makuhari Mess in Chiba Prefecture on December 18-19, 2021. However, “Jump Super Stage EX” sessions including “Super Stage EX ‘BLEACH'” will air only online and not on the spot.

Bleach (stylized as BLEACH) is a Japanese anime television series based on the manga of the same name by Tite Kubo. It was produced by Studio Pierrot and directed by Noriyuki Abe. The series aired on TV Tokyo from October 2004 to March 2012, with 366 episodes. The story follows the adventures of Ichigo Kurosaki after he gains the powers of a Soul Reaper, a Grim Reaper-like personification of death, from another Soul Reaper, Rukia Kuchiki. His new powers force him to take on the duty of defending humans from evil spirits and guiding the souls of the deceased to the afterlife. The anime adaptation includes original stories not found in the manga with repeated appearances and stories that contain these original characters.

Viz Media obtained the foreign television and domestic video distribution rights to the Bleach anime in March 2006. Bleach aired in the United States on Adult Swim from September 2006 to November 2014. The international release of the series spans dozens. from countries in multiple languages, such as Spanish, French, German, Brazilian Portuguese, and Tagalog.

In March 2020, it was announced that the manga’s final story arc, “Thousand-Year Blood War,” would receive an anime adaptation.
