Netflix India has recently announced the inclusion of “season 10” of the beloved Bleach anime, scheduled for release on August 1st. Currently, the streaming platform offers episodes up to 265, covering the initial run of the series from 2004 to 2012.
The anime’s popularity continues to soar, as evidenced by its availability on various platforms, such as Ani-One Asia’s YouTube channel since September 16 and bilibili since August 13, both offering free streaming. Crunchyroll also joined in, bringing the anime to Indian audiences on June 12.
Moreover, fans were thrilled when the highly anticipated Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, an anime adaptation of Tite Kubo’s manga arc of the same name, returned for its second cours on July 8.
Ani-One Asia, consistently delivering quality content, promptly made the second cour available for Indian viewers on the same day as its Japanese premiere. Notably, Netflix India has also embraced this exhilarating arc, streaming Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War for their audience. Ultra subscribers of Ani-One Asia’s YouTube channel have enjoyed this fantastic addition since October 10.
It’s worth noting that Kubo’s Bleach manga initially debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump back in 2001 and concluded in August 2016. To cater to international fans, Viz Media published the manga digitally in English, while Shueisha continued releasing new chapters in Japan. Additionally, Viz Media also provided printed versions, successfully distributing the manga worldwide, with an impressive circulation of 130 million copies.
The immense popularity of the Bleach franchise goes beyond its animated and printed adaptations. The franchise has expanded its reach through four films and two OVAs, captivating fans with thrilling storylines. Moreover, Bleach has inspired various forms of entertainment, including video games, novels, stage plays, and a live-action film that hit theaters in July 2018, delighting fans with its immersive universe.
