The advance screening of the TV animation “BLEACH Sennen Ketsusen Hen” based on the final chapter of Tite Kubo’s popular manga “BLEACH” serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” (Shueisha) will be held in Shinagawa on September 11th.
It was held at THE GRAND HALL (Minato-ku, Tokyo), and Seiichi Morita, who plays Ichigo Kurosaki, Fumiko Orikasa, who plays Rukia Kuchiki, and Noriaki Sugiyama, who plays Uryu Ishida, appeared.
This work was broadcast on TV from 2004 to 2012, and theatrical animation was released four times. It will be the first time in about 10 years that a TV anime will be broadcast, and Morita and others talked about their thoughts on the new work.
It was also announced that the “Millennium Blood War Arc” will be broadcast every Monday at midnight from October 10th on TV Tokyo, and will be drawn to the “last” in four separate courses.
“BLEACH” is a manga that depicts Ichigo Kurosaki, who has acquired the power of the Shinigami, and his companions fight against evil spirits called “Hollow” and embark on an adventure across different worlds.
It was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2001 to 2016, and a live-action film starring Sota Fukushi was released in 2018. It gained popularity as one of the magazine’s signboard works. The total circulation of comics worldwide is over 130 million copies.
