The official website for Toei’s Toei Manga Matsuri omnibus film series began streaming a new trailer for the new film in the Butt Detective (Oshiri Tantei) franchise on Tuesday. The video reveals the film’s title, cast, staff, and the August 13 opening.
“Butt Detective” is a story about a detective with a face in the shape of an ass, Butt Detective, and his assistant, Brown, who solve a difficult case. It was made into a TV animation in December 2018, and in 2019 it will be the first theater animation “Movie Butt Detective Curry Narujiken”, and in 2020 it will be the second “Movie Butt Detective Tentoumushi Isekino” “Mystery” has been released.

The third Butt Detective film is titled Eiga Oshiri Tantei: Sufūre-to no Himitsu (Oshiri Tantei: The Secret of Sufūre Island). The setting of the new movie “Butt Detective” is on the steep cliffs of Sufure Island. People live on the island, riding the wind and flying in the sky. Of “superfood treasure of the theater version toriko gastronomic God” Akifumi Zako has served as a director, in charge of production is Toei Animation. As with the TV anime, Yuko Sanpei will play the role of Butt Detective, Ayaka Saito will play the role of Brown, Takahiro Sakurai will play the role of Kaito U, and Ikkei Watanabe will play the role of Maltese Dog and narration.
