The Cardfight!! Vanguard franchise’s official website announced that the third season of the Cardfight!! Vanguard will+Dress anime is set to receive an English dub. The English dubbed episodes will premiere on the franchise’s official YouTube channel every Friday at 7:00 p.m. EDT, with new episodes coming out weekly.
This third season initially launched on July 8. During its original airing, Crunchyroll streamed the series. Notably, this season welcomed Ryūtarō Suzuki as the new director, succeeding Ken Mori, who now holds the position of chief director. Satoshi Nakamura took the reins for the series scripts, replacing Mori and Natsuko Takahashi.

Handling character design were Tomokatsu Nagasaku, along with Hiroyuki Saita, who also shared the role of chief animation director with Ga Young Park and Hatsuhi Yoshitake. Notably, Hiroyuki Saita transitioned from his previous role as chief animation director. Hiroyuki Oguri served as the unit animation director, with Osamu Masayama as the art advisor and Yuushi Koshida handling 3D CG. Hikari Komiya was credited for the color setting. The core members of the staff remained the same as the previous anime.

The anime’s first season made its debut in July 2022 and was streamed by HIDIVE during its original run. Subsequently, the second season premiered on January 14, with Crunchyroll and HIDIVE streaming this season as well.
Looking ahead, the franchise’s next season, Cardfight!! Vanguard DivineZ, is scheduled to premiere in January 2024. Bushiroad has plans for the 10th season and beyond for the ongoing “D series” of the anime. Originally, Bushiroad had announced its intent to produce up to nine seasons for the current “D Series” of the Cardfight!! Vanguard anime. The D Series encompasses both the latest product line for the card game and the anime series, and it was initially set to continue until December 2025.
The Cardfight!! Vanguard overDress anime’s first two seasons marked the inception of the D Series in April 2021. Notably, the Cardfight!! Vanguard will+Dress anime’s first season is regarded as the third season within the D Series, while the second and third seasons fall under the D Series’ fourth and fifth seasons, respectively.

The upcoming season, Cardfight!! Vanguard DivineZ, is the sixth season and is anticipated to debut in mid-2024. The seventh season is on track for a mid-2024 release. The eighth season will make its debut in early 2025, followed by the ninth season in the middle of the same year.
