Toake Daigo, fueled by unmatched determination, radiates exceptional talent. Onoda Shun grapples with the barriers hindering his path forward.
Meanwhile, Nakamura Yuki aspires to join the select few in the “Orange” special rescue corps, breaking gender norms. As the trio, united by their Orange ambitions, converges, the tale unfurls of Japan’s impending rescue mission initiation. Yet, looming before them is a nationwide crisis, putting the entire country at risk!
Overseeing the series at Brains Base is director Masahiko Murata (known for Naruto Shippūden and To Your Eternity). Responsible for character design are Hitomi Tsuruta (from World Trigger) and Koji Yabuno (of Space Brothers fame). Handling the series composition is Shinzō Fujita (also credited for To Your Eternity).
The manga, initially launched in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Magazine in October 2020 by Soda and Tomiyama, has been warmly received. Notably, Viz Media has released all 20 volumes of Soda’s original Firefighter! Daigo of Fire Company M (Megumi no Daigo) manga.
The manga’s serialization occurred in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine from 1995 to 1999.
