San Diego Comic-Con International is a non-profit, multi-genre comics and entertainment convention held annually in San Diego, California, the United States since 1970. The name, as it appears on its website, is Comic-Con International: San Diego; but it is commonly known simply as Comic-Con or San Diego Comic-Con or “SDCC”. SDCC had been canceled twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 2020 marked the first time that SDCC missed a year since its establishment.
