The publisher of the popular light novel series “I’m enamored with the antagonist,” unveils a fresh manga spinoff centered around cooking.

Fans of the GL light novel series I’m in Love With the Villainess will enjoy a new spinoff manga this summer.
As reported by Anime News Network, the popular light novel series will receive a four-part manga drawn by tsuke. This comedic spinoff, titled Maid’s Kitchen, centers around protagonist Rae and her friend Lene as they collaborate to create desserts for Rae’s love interest, Claire Francois. The debut chapter of this manga will be published in Comic Yuri Hime magazine on June 16.

Authored by Inori and illustrated by Hanagata, In Love with the Villainess debuted on the self-publishing site, Shosetsuka ni Naro, in Jan 2018. Aichu Publishing acquired the series in Feb 2019, releasing the volumes digitally under GL Bunko imprint. The narrative centers on Rei Oohashi, an office worker transported into her beloved otome game, Revolution, assuming the role of protagonist Rae Taylor. Within this new guise, Rei encounters her cherished character, Claire Francois, whom she ardently adores. Despite her villainous position, Rei resolves to capture Claire’s affection.
