Crunchyroll Adds Liar Liar, TenPuru More New Anime in India

Crunchyroll has expanded its streaming roster in India, adding three exciting new anime series to its lineup, starting Saturday.

Among these series are the television adaptations of Nazuna Miki and Subachi’s light novel series, “My Unique Skill Makes Me OP even at Level 1 (Level 1 dakedo Unique Skill de Saikyō desu)” and Haruki Kuō’s “Liar Liar” light novel series, which is not related to Renjuro Kindaichi’s Liar x Liar manga. Additionally, “TenPuru”, the television adaptation of Kimitake Yoshioka’s “TenPuru -No One Can Live on Loneliness-” manga, is also included in the newly added titles.

My Unique Skill Makes Me OP even at Level 1

“My Unique Skill Makes Me OP even at Level 1” premiered on July 8 on Tokyo MX and BS NTV. Ani-One Asia is also streaming the series as it airs in Japan.

The series is being directed by Yūji Yanase, best known for his work on “By the Grace of the Gods”. Yuka Yamada, who worked on “Tokyo Mew Mew New,” is overseeing the series composition. A team of talented artists including Miyako Nishida, Eri Kojima, Kaho Deguchi, and Yūko Ōba, are serving as the main character designers. Endō is the music composer, with the ending theme song “Tamborine no Naru Oka” (The Tambourine-Ringing Hill) performed by Airi Miyakawa.

Liar Liar

“Liar Liar” also made its premiere in Japan on July 8. This series is also being streamed by Ani-One Asia as it airs in Japan.

Satoru Ōno and Naoki Matsuura are co-directing the series at Geek Toys. Momoka Toyoda is managing the series scripts, while Yumi Nakamura is responsible for character design. The opening theme song, “Lies Goes On,” is performed by May’n, and the ending theme song, “faky merry game,” is performed by idol group SMILE PRINCESS.

TenPuru

“TenPuru” debuted on July 8, with the 25:30 a.m. JST (effectively, July 9 at 1:30 a.m. JST or July 8 at 12:30 p.m. EDT) slot on the TOKYO MX and BS11 channels.

Kazuomi Koga is directing the anime at Gekkō. The characters are being designed by Masato Katsumata, and Yōhei Kashii is overseeing the series scripts. The ending theme song “Oidemase! Mikazukidera” is performed by the five main female cast members as their respective characters.

All three of these series are expected to offer viewers in India a rich selection of content to enjoy in the anime genre.
