Crunchyroll debuted the initial episode of Tenchi Muyo! GXP Paradise Starting (Tenchi Muyo! GXP Paradise Shidō-hen), the original video anime linked to the Tenchi Muyo GXP series, in India on Friday.

The Blu-ray Discs containing the three-episode OVA are being shipped in Japan. The initial OVA was shipped on Friday. The second and third episodes will be shipped on June 30 and July 28 respectively.
The OVA features the following actors:

Masaki Kajishima, the creator and character designer of the Enchi Muyo! franchise, takes on the role of supervising director for the OVA. Hideki Shirane, known for his work on Tenchi Muyo GXP, Tenchi Muyo! War on Geminar, and the fourth and fifth Tenchi Muyo! Ryo Ohki OVA series, writes and supervises the scripts for this project.
Hiroshi Negishi, who previously worked on Ai: Tenchi Muyo! and Tenchi Universe, serves as the chief director for the OVA, while Takashi Asami, recognized for his involvement in Sakura Wars, takes on the directorial responsibilities. Nana Hiiragi contributes as the character designer. The animation of the OVA is handled by AIC and Saber Project, with Digital Network Animation providing production cooperation.
Unlike previous spinoffs like Tenchi Universe and Tenchi in Tokyo, which focused on the franchise’s central cast, Tenchi Muyo GXP centers around different characters and originated as a television anime airing 26 episodes in 2002. It later expanded into a series of light novels by Kajishima, which began in 2003 and recently concluded with its 17th volume in June 2018.
The new Tenchi Muyo! GXP Paradise Shidō-hen anime serves as a prelude to the “Paradise War” event in the story, establishing a connection to the recent fourth and fifth Tenchi Muyo! Ryo Ohki OVA series. This marks an exciting new chapter for the protagonist Seina Yamada.
