Crunchyroll Debuts Tamil & Hindi Dubs: “My Dress-Up Darling” & “The Detective is Already Dead”

Crunchyroll, the world’s most popular anime streaming platform, has just announced the premiere dates for the Tamil and Hindi dubs of two of their popular series, “My Dress-Up Darling” and “The Detective is Already Dead.” Fans across the subcontinent can mark their calendars for August 26 and August 30 at 8:30AM IST, respectively.

My Dress-Up Darling: A Dive into Traditional Crafts and Teen Worlds

The story revolves around Wakana Gojo, a high school boy aspiring to become a kashirashi—a master craftsman of traditional Japanese Hina dolls. Struggling to stay updated with modern trends and fit in with his peers, Gojo finds an unexpected confidante in popular girl Marin Kitagawa. An accidental sharing of secrets leads to a merging of their vastly different worlds.

This anime comes alive under the magic touch of CloverWorks studio.

This anime takes viewers on a gripping journey with Kimihiko, who once collaborated with the brilliant silver-haired detective Siesta to prevent a hijacking. Following Siesta’s tragic demise, Kimihiko’s past resurfaces a year later, embroiling him in a whirlwind of murder and conspiracy related to his late partner. ENGI studio brings this thrilling narrative to the screen.
