
The anime adaptation of Piero Karasu’s light novel series The Magical Revolution of the Reincarnated Princess will be streaming on Crunchyroll starting on January 4. The show will be available in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
It will also air in Japan on AT-X, Tokyo MX, TV Aichi, Kansai TV, and BS11, and stream on ABEMA. The main cast includes Sayaka Senbongi as Anisphia von Palletia and Manaka Iwami as Euphyllia Magenta. The story follows Anisphia, a princess who is supposedly incompetent with regular magic but develops “magicology,” a unique magical theory based on memories from her past life.

She witnesses Euphyllia, a brilliant noblewoman, being falsely stripped of her title as the next monarch and decides to help her regain her good name. The two women end up living together and researching magic, leading to an encounter that will change not only their own futures but also those of the kingdom and the entire world.
The light novel series was serialized on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website from February 2019 to June 2020, with epilogue chapters written from August 2020 to August 2021 and a prologue chapter added in September 2020. The first print volume, illustrated by Yuri Kisaragi, was published by Kadokawa in January 2020, and the sixth volume will be released on January 20.
