The editors of Kodansha’s Evening magazine announced Monday that manga creator Hiroto Wada passed away suddenly on July 18 due to a brain hemorrhage and other contributing factors. He was 46 years old.
Wada has worked on “Pharaoh” and “Den-sama to Stitch” and was currently serializing “Yankee Mito Komon” in the evening (Kodansha). The first volume of “Yankee Mito Komon” was just released on July 21st. The evening editorial department said, “It’s a regrettable thing because I passed away just before the release of the first volume of the above-mentioned work, and I was expected to be active in the future. I pray for the souls. “
