During San Diego Comic-Con’s Pokémon panel, The Pokémon Company International delighted fans with exciting news about Pokémon Horizons: The Series English dub, revealing its imminent arrival. Attendees were treated to a trailer and an English clip from the series’ first episode as they met the new dual protagonists, Liko and Roy.
The dub cast includes:
- Ikue Ōtani as Captain Pikachu
- Crispin Freeman as Friede
The anime showcases beloved creatures like Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly from the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet games, alongside the dazzling Shiny Legendary Pokémon, Rayquaza. Additionally, viewers will be introduced to Friede and Captain Pikachu, a dynamic Pokémon professor and partner duo who join forces with Liko and Roy in thrilling battles.
The anime made its grand debut with a special one-hour premiere on April 14, capturing the hearts of fans. Every Friday at 6:55 p.m., viewers can tune in to catch the latest adventures.
Helming the anime’s direction is Saori Den (Mirage Queen Prefers Circus), while Daiki Tomiyasu (Pokémon Sun & Moon, Pocket Monster Mezase Pokémon Master) serves as the creative director. Overseeing the series scripts is the talented Dai Sato (Eureka Seven, Wolf’s Rain, Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop), ensuring a captivating narrative.
