The official Twitter account for the TV anime adaptation of Yū Shimizu and Asagi Tōsaka’s light novel series, “The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy” (Seiken Gakuin no Maken Tsukai), has revealed its premiere date. The anime is set to debut on TV Tokyo at 1:30 a.m. JST on October 2 (effectively, October 3 in terms of scheduling) before subsequent broadcasts on other networks.

Additionally, ABEMA will exclusively stream the anime in advance on September 25 at 1:30 a.m. JST (effectively, September 24). The account’s announcement also includes an enticing video clip featuring Shary, skillfully voiced by Arisa Nakada.

Hiroyuki Morita leads the anime direction at Passione, while Takayuki Noguchi takes the reins of character design, drawing inspiration from the original designs by Asagi Tōsaka and Asuka Keigen. Yuuji Nomi assumes the role of music composer, and Hisayoshi Hirasawa assumes the position of sound director for the project.

Kadokawa released the inaugural volume of Shimizu’s novel series, adorned with Tōsaka’s illustrations, back in May 2019, and the novels continue to captivate readers with their ongoing narrative.
In a parallel storytelling realm, Asuka Keigen embarked on a manga adaptation of the novels within Kadokawa’s Shōnen Ace magazine in November 2019. This manga series, too, is a continuous journey, weaving together the threads of this captivating narrative.
