As per IGN’s recent confirmation from the game’s team, the remake will incorporate elements from the original Persona 3 release, excluding content from Persona 3 FES and Persona 3 Portable, including the inclusion of a female protagonist.
Persona 3 made its debut on the PlayStation 2 in 2006, followed by the release of Persona 3 FES, an additional disc, in 2007. Subsequently, Persona 3 Portable was introduced for the PlayStation Portable in 2009. The game served as the muse for a tetralogy of anime movies, released between 2013 and 2016.
