This was announced at “Hiro Mashima Fan Meeting @ Mixalive TOKYO” held on September 11th. “FAIRY TAIL 100 YEARS QUEST”, whose name is based on Mashima, is a “orthodox sequel” that depicts the aftermath of “FAIRY TAIL”, which was completed in 2017. An adventure is drawn to challenge the legendary request “100 Years Quest” that no one has achieved. It is serialized in Magazine Pocket, and up to 9 volumes are on sale. A PV that conveys the decision to animate has also been released.
Natsu, Lucy, Happy, Erza, and the whole Fairy Tail Guild are back in action! And they’ve decided to tackle the “100 Years Quest”—a job no one’s dared take on since the founding of the guild more than a century ago. A mysterious town, a baffling spirit, a ghastly new enemy … and a brand new continent to explore. When you’re with real friends, the adventures never stop!
Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest is a sequel to Hiro Mashima’s popular manga series and has been serialized on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket manga app since July 2018. Kodansha USA launches the series in English, and the eighth volume will be released. September 28.
