The official website for the upcoming original television anime, “Our Rainy Protocol” (Bokura no Ameiro Protocol), unveiled its key visual and introduced four additional cast members on Tuesday.

The newly announced cast members are:
- Kaede Hondo as Seshiru Satō
- Tomokazu Sugita as Ryūsei Nagamine
- Azumi Waki as Emiko Takanashi
- Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Mutsuki Naitō
Scheduled for its premiere in October on TV Asahi’s NUMAnimation programming block, this youthful drama delves into the dynamic realm of e-sports. Shun Tokinoya, a second-year high school student, finds himself working at the e-sports café FOX ONE following his father’s tragic demise.
However, an unsettling revelation emerges – FOX ONE is entangled in a substantial financial crisis. To alleviate this burden, Shun and his comrades venture into the “Xaxxerion Championship” tournament, their beacon of hope to secure the coveted prize money.
The original concept for the series is credited to Team KITSUNE. At the helm is Yasutaka Yamamoto, renowned for works such as “Servant × Service,” “Nekopara,” “Noblesse,” and “Medalist,” serving as the chief director. Assisting him is Daishi Katō, known for his directorial role in episodes of “BASTARD!! -Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy-” and “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean,” at the animation studio Quad.
The original story draft comes from the talented mind of Kotsukotsu, with the series scripts overseen by the accomplished duo of Katsuhiko Takayama, known for “Aldnoah.Zero” and “The Future Diary,” and Yasutaka Yamamoto.

The original character designs are crafted by booota, skillfully adapted into animation by Kanna Hirayama. Satoru Kousaki and MONACA have joined forces to compose the captivating musical score for the series.
