This video, released on Friday, provides a sneak peek at the opening theme song titled “Yūsha” (Hero) by YOASOBI, as well as the ending theme song “Anytime Anywhere” performed by milet.

Mark your calendars for the grand premiere of the anime on September 29 at 9:00 p.m. JST (8:00 a.m. EDT), featuring a two-hour special. Following this extraordinary start, the subsequent episodes are set to air in October as part of NTV’s fresh anime timeslot.

The manga, licensed by Viz Media, lays out a captivating tale: While the adventure may have concluded, life’s journey continues for Frieren, an elf mage who is only just beginning to comprehend the essence of existence. Having triumphed over the Demon King alongside her valiant comrades, they’ve ushered in an era of peace. Yet, Frieren is destined to outlast her fellow adventurers by many years.

This story delves into her quest to grasp the meaning of life through the eyes of those around her. Several decades after their victorious feat, the funeral of a dear friend compels Frieren to confront her own near-immortality. Driven by this revelation, she embarks on a new quest—to fulfill the last wishes of her companions, thus embarking on a fresh adventure.

Taking on the role of the lead character and protagonist, Frieren, is the talented Atsumi Tanezaki, who is poised to breathe life into this remarkable journey.
