Following the release of Chapter 78 on October 2, fans now anticipate the manga’s conclusion in a mere three chapters. Mark your calendars for the debut of Chapter 79 on Kodansha’s YanMaga Web website, set to grace screens on October 9.

This captivating manga initially made its debut in Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine back in September 2021 before making a transition to YanMaga Web in September 2022. The seventh compiled book volume of the series was released by Kodansha on August 4.
The story revolves around an alluring and curvaceous “gyaru/gal” who also happens to be a teacher with a penchant for the sadistic side of life.
Notably, Ueno’s journey in the world of manga began with the Hajimete no Gal series, which premiered in Kadokawa’s Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine in November 2015. The 17th compiled book volume of this series hit the shelves on August 25.
It’s worth mentioning that this manga served as the inspiration for a popular television anime adaptation, initially airing in July 2017. Crunchyroll provided streaming services for the anime under the title “My First Girlfriend is a Gal.” Additionally, Funimation offered a simuldub alongside the broadcast and later released the series on home video in August 2018.

Ueno’s creative prowess doesn’t stop there, as the artist also gave life to the intriguing “Does a Hot Elf Live Next Door to You?” (Otaku no Tonari wa Elf desu ka?) manga, a five-volume series that kicked off in July 2019 and concluded in March 2021. Fans of this series can enjoy it in English, thanks to Seven Seas Entertainment’s publication.
