On Friday, Spike Chunsoft streamed a system trailer for the highly-anticipated game, Anonymous;Code. The video showcased its unique features: the Saving and Loading mechanism, as well as the intriguing Hacking Trigger aspect.

Set to launch in the West on September 8, the game will be available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam.

Originally released in Japan in July 2022 for Switch and PS4, this awaited launch will also mark the first time the MAGES.’ Science Adventure visual novel series includes an English dub.
The English voice cast features Max Mittelman as Pollon, Anairis Quiñones as Momo, and Y. Chang as Cross, with translation by Andrew Hodgson (“Steiner”). Moreover, the release will offer a steelbook launch edition, adding to the excitement.

The captivating narrative is set in 2037, in the bustling city of Nakano, Tokyo. Players will accompany Pollon Takaoka as he becomes entangled in a web of enigmatic plots following his encounter with the mysterious girl, Momo. Throughout the game, they will be tasked with hacking through numerous branches of reality, seeking the ending that can save the world.
Although there were previous hints that the game might be available for PlayStation 5, there is currently no confirmed plan for such a release. The game was initially intended for PS4 and PlayStation Vita but was later announced for Nintendo Switch in 2017. However, MAGES. did not proceed with the PS Vita release.

Anonymous;Code is the latest addition to the esteemed “Science Adventure” game series, joining the ranks of Chaos;HEAd, Steins;Gate, Robotics;Notes, Chaos;Child, and Occultic;Nine projects. Despite encountering multiple delays in its development journey since its initial announcement in 2015, fans’ excitement remains unwavering. Notably, the game’s opening theme song “Game Over” is performed by the talented Kanako Itou.
