Japan is gearing up for an exciting event as Pokémon enthusiasts will be treated to the inaugural “Pokémon Summer Festival Park” during the Obon holidays. This unique celebration combines the traditional Obon festival atmosphere with a delightful Pokémon twist.

At the heart of the festival grounds stands a magnificent tower adorned with a colossal Pokéball, accompanied by lively taiko drummers.

Encircling this centerpiece, an enchanting Bon dance inspired by Pokémon game music will captivate attendees, who are warmly encouraged to participate. Furthermore, the festival’s vibrant stalls offer an array of thrilling Pokémon-themed games, including Magikarp fishing and Pokéball throwing, ensuring a memorable experience for all visitors.

The “Pokémon Summer Festival Park” is set to be held at Yokohama’s Rinko Park, Japan, spanning from August 11th to August 14th, 2023.
