The staff behind The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3 television anime recently unveiled some exciting news. The season is set to make its debut on October 6 at 9:00 p.m. JST on AT-X, followed by broadcasts on other networks.

Previously, the anime had a spectacular world premiere at Anime Expo on July 3, creating quite a buzz.

Moreover, it is embarking on a world tour with premieres in July in Paris and Austin, followed by showings in Mannheim, Germany, and Toronto in August. Finally, the grand finale of this tour will be in Tokyo on October 1, featuring the cast.

Taking the helm as the director for this third season is Hitoshi Haga. Notably, Haga, who contributed to the first season by storyboarding five episodes and directing four, adds his unique touch to the series.
He follows in the footsteps of Takao Abo from the first season and Masato Jinbo from the second. The series’ scripts remain under the watchful eye of Keigo Koyanagi, ensuring continuity. The talented Kevin Penkin returns to compose the music, and Kinema Citrus resumes its role in animation production.
Joining Masahiro Suwa in character design duties are Franziska van Wulfen and Sana Komatsu. Notably, Kōta Sera, the chief animation director from previous seasons, is now a collaborator on the character designs.
In terms of music, MADKID takes the stage for the third season’s opening theme, titled “SIN.” Meanwhile, Chiai Fujikawa lends her vocal talents once again for the ending theme, “Suki ni Natte wa Ikenai Riyū” (The Reason I Cannot Love You).

Both artists are returning after their contributions to the previous seasons, promising a familiar yet fresh auditory experience for fans.
