Gundam: The Witch From Mercury Anime Teases Thrilling Climax

On Tuesday, the official Twitter account of the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury anime released an exciting promotional video for the climax of its second season. The 23rd episode of the anime is scheduled to be broadcast on June 25, while the 24th and final episode will follow on July 2.

The second season debuted in Japan on April 9, airing simultaneously on MBS, TBS, and 26 affiliate stations at 5:00 p.m. (4:00 a.m. EDT). Instead of its sixth episode (the 18th overall episode), the anime broadcasted a recap special on May 14.

The anime’s initial season premiered in Japan in October 2022 on MBS and TBS, occupying the 5:00 p.m. Sunday time slot. Crunchyroll provided a streaming platform for the anime’s simultaneous broadcast and began streaming the English dubbed version on February 5. On November 13, the first season presented a recap compilation special, which led to a delay in airing the seventh episode.

Directed by Hiroshi Kobayashi (known for Kimi no Iru Machi, Kiznaiver, Spriggan), the anime is produced by Bandai Namco Filmworks/Sunrise, with Ryo Ando serving as co-director. Ichiro Okouchi (recognized for works like Code Geass, Princess Principal, Sk8 the Infinity) is credited as the series composer and scriptwriter. mogmo is acknowledged for the original character designs, while Marie Tagashira, Shuri Toida, and Hirotoshi Takaya are responsible for animating those character designs. Takashi Ohmama (renowned for Castle Town Dandelion and Mobile Suit Gundam Twilight AXIS) handles the composition of the music.
