On June 14, Bang Zoom! Studios, the renowned anime dubbing studio, sadly shared the news of the passing of producer Hiroe Tsukamoto.

Tsukamoto has contributed to the American anime industry for nearly three decades, primarily through her involvement in English dubbing and releases.

She held a significant role at Geneon (formerly Pioneer LDC) from 1994 to 2007, where she made notable contributions to titles such as Samurai Champloo, Trigun, Serial Experiments Lain, Akira, Sakura Wars: The Movie, Heat Guy J, Tenchi in Tokyo, and NieA_7.

After her tenure at Geneon, she joined forces with Aniplex of America, continuing her impactful work on prominent titles such as the Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel anime film trilogy, the Sword Art Online franchise, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill, Blue Exorcist, ERASED, Occultic;Nine, and Durarara!!.
