Ani-One Asia has just started streaming the first season of the hit anime, “In Another World With My Smartphone” on their platform. Adapted from Patora Fuyuhara’s light novel series of the same name, the anime follows the story of a protagonist who, after dying due to a mistake made by God, finds himself in a parallel world. Here, he starts his second life with only his smartphone and the body that God gave him as his possessions.
What follows is a fantastic journey as the main character meets new people, forges new friendships, and uncovers the secrets of this new world. He inherits the legacy of an ancient civilization and works together with the kings of some very laid-back countries on his carefree travels through this new world.

The first season of “In Another World With My Smartphone” premiered in July 2017 and aired for 12 episodes. The anime was directed by Takeyuki Yanase and written by Natsuko Takahashi, with Toshihide Masudate, Masahiro Sekiguchi, and Miyako Nishida credited as character designers and chief animation directors.
J-Novel Club is releasing the novel series in English, and the manga adaptation by Soto is being published by Yen Press.
