Japanese Film Festival: “Josse, The Tiger and the Fish” and more anime Films screen in Delhi

In March, one of the most beloved anime events is going to start in Delhi. The event will start from 4th March and it will run till 6th March. So, what do we get from this event? 

Well, during this event multiple anime films are going to screen in theaters of Delhi. The location of the event is PVR Select Citywalk, New Delhi. Below you will get the list of film names that will screen during The Japanese Film Festival.

#01. A couple of Chimney Town (Entotsu-chō no Poupelle in Japanese) by Akihiro Nishino. The film will premiere on 5th March at 1:30 p.m IST. 

#02. Josse, The Tiger and the Fish (Josee to Tora to Sakana-Tachi in Japanese) by Seiko Tanabe. The film will premiere on 6th March at 11:00 a.m IST. 

#03. Ramayana: The Legend of Prince of Rama (Ramayana – Rama Ouji Densetsuin Japanese). Well, this film is a remastered version of the original film. The film will premiere on 6th March at 04:00 p.m IST. 

#04. Last but not least, on 4th March a live-action adaptation of Liar x Liar manga will screen at 1:30 p.m IST. 

Originally, the event was going to be canceled by The Japan Foundation. And for that purpose, they created a Facebook Page where they announce this event. On that note, they state that the event will be canceled because of the increasing cases of the Covid-19 in Delhi. However, because of good luck, the event is not going to be postponed and take place at the designated time. 

Furthermore, the same event was canceled in Balgore because of Covid-19 reasons. The Japan Foundation every year organizes events like these to promote in India and its major cities. However, because of Covid-19, the event did not take place in the last 3 years.
