Crunchyroll announces a Hindi dub for season 1 of the acclaimed dark fantasy series, JUJUTSU KAISEN. The much-anticipated premiere is set to air on July 28th exclusively on Crunchyroll.
JUJUTSU KAISEN narrates the riveting saga of a high school student who becomes a curse to vanquish another curse. The anime, known for its remarkable animation and gripping storyline, is the brainchild of Hiroshi Seko, the writer behind VINLAND SAGA, Attack on Titan Final Season, and Mob Psycho 100. The series’ animation is credited to MAPPA, the studio behind notable titles like Chainsaw Man and Attack on Titan Final Season.

The Hindi dub promises a star-studded voice cast featuring
- Yuji Itadori – Vidit Kumar, known for Stranger Things and Adventure Time
- Megumi Fushiguro – Sahil Kulkarni from Beyblade Burst
- Nobara Kugisaki – Suvela Sharma, the voice behind Emily in Paris and Enola Holmes
- Satoru Gojo – Lohit Sharma, recognized for Squid Game and DC’s Titans
- Ryomen Sukuna – Archit Maurya from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045
Crunchyroll’s move to produce a Hindi dubbed version is in line with its commitment to widen the reach of anime, and follows the recent report of a rumored Hindi dub in works for the series. JUJUTSU KAISEN, produced by TOHO Animation, is based on the best-selling manga created by Gege Akutami. The manga boasts an impressive 80 million copies in circulation and continues to be serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump.

This announcement adds to Crunchyroll’s continually expanding roster of Hindi dubbed series which already includes Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc, MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES, and The Ancient Magus’ Bride Season 2. In JUJUTSU KAISEN, viewers get to witness the life-altering journey of high school student Yuji Itadori. After ingesting a special grade cursed object to save a friend, he becomes a host to the malevolent spirit “Sukuna.” Consequently, he’s transferred to an institution specializing in curses, where he is trained by the formidable Satoru Gojo. The tale of JUJUTSU KAISEN is as captivating as it is thrilling, and Indian fans can look forward to experiencing this first-hand in their native language.
