This week’s 31st edition of Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine unveiled exciting news regarding Katsuhisa Minami’s The Fable: The Second Contact manga. The manga’s forthcoming chapter, scheduled for release in the 32nd issue on July 10, will mark its conclusion. Additionally, the magazine hinted at an “important announcement” for the manga in the same 32nd issue.

Minami initiated this manga as a sequel to his original series, The Fable, in July 2021, effectively serving as the second installment within the manga franchise. Kodansha plans to release the eighth volume of The Fable: The Second Contact on August 4.
The original manga made its debut in Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine back in November 2014 and concluded in November 2019, spanning an impressive 22 volumes. In 2017, the series received the prestigious distinction of Best General Manga at the 41st annual Kodansha awards.
