Kaii to Otome to Kamikakushi Manga Gets TV Anime Adaptation

The popular manga series “Kaii to Otome to Kamikakushi” (which translates to “The Sea, the Maiden, and the Disappearance”) is getting a TV anime adaptation! For those of you who may not be familiar with the manga, it tells the story of a young girl named Yuna who moves to a small island with her family.

There, she discovers a hidden world beneath the sea and the mysterious disappearances that seem to be connected to it. The anime will be produced by Studio Gokumi, known for their work on other popular anime series like “Konosuba” and “Kimi ni Todoke.” The director will be Keiichiro Kawaguchi, who has previously worked on anime such as “Fruits Basket” and “Working!!”.

As someone who has read the manga, I can confidently say that this is a series that you don’t want to miss. The story is full of mystery and intrigue, and the characters are all likable and relatable. The art is also absolutely beautiful, with stunning depictions of the sea and the creatures that live beneath it.
