In the forthcoming October issue of Kadokawa’s Young Ace magazine, readers can anticipate an exciting new addition to their manga collection.

Kazuhiko Morita is set to unveil his latest creation, “Oibore Yūsha no Isekaigo” (The Aged Hero’s Fantasy World Retirement Home), debuting in the magazine’s upcoming issue on October 4.

This manga unfolds in a fantastical realm that celebrated its triumph over an evil overlord six decades ago, ushering in an era of tranquility.

However, the hero who spearheaded the valiant group responsible for saving the world now finds himself in a predicament.

In the twilight of his years, his power remains undiminished, but his memory has become increasingly elusive. The nation’s leaders grapple with how to handle their aging hero, but an unexpected incident sets him on an extraordinary journey around the world.

Previously, Morita adapted author Hirukuma and illustrator Namako’s work, “The NPCs in this Village Sim Game Must Be Real!” (Murazukuri Game no NPC ga Shōjin no Ningen toshika Omoenai light novel series), for Kadokawa’s Young Ace Up! manga website, commencing in November 2019.

The final sixth volume of the manga hit shelves on April 10, with Seven Seas Entertainment overseeing the publication of both the manga and the original light novels. Their third manga volume was released in May 2022.
