On Tuesday, just a day before its anticipated premiere on Wednesday, the official website for the anime adaptation of Yugo Aosaki’s Undead Girl Murder Farce novels unveiled a captivating new visual.

This stunning artwork, created by the anime’s original character designer Iwamoto05, showcases the vibrant personalities of the show’s characters, leaving fans in eager anticipation.

The anime premiered on Fuji TV’s +Ultra slot on Wednesday, airing at 24:55 JST (equivalent to Thursday at 12:55 a.m.). Crunchyroll is currently globally streaming the series, except for Asia, and it is titled “Undead Murder Farce” for its Japanese broadcast.

Mamoru Hatakeyama, known for his work on Kaguya-sama: Love is War, has been entrusted with directing duties for the upcoming anime at Lapin Track. Handling the series composition is the talented Noboru Takagi, acclaimed for his work on Golden Kamuy.
The character designs, based on the original creations by Iwamoto05, are skillfully crafted by Noriko Itou, known for her exceptional work on Kakegurui. Assisting with sub-character design and serving as the chief animation director is Naho Kozono, recognized for her contribution to Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation. Yuma Yamaguchi, renowned for his musical compositions in I’M KODAMA KAWASHIRI, takes charge of composing the captivating music for the series. CLASS:y delivers the captivating opening anthem “Crack-Crack-Crackle,” while Anna beautifully serenades the concluding tune “reversal.” Aosaki commenced the novel series in 2015.
