Bandai Namco Entertainment America unveiled a fresh trailer on Friday, showcasing JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R—a revamped iteration of the fighting game. The trailer introduces Leone Abbacchio from Golden Wind, marking the inaugural DLC character of Season Pass 2, set to debut in early fall.

The second season pass encompasses a trio of characters. Leone Abbacchio enters the fray in early fall, a Diamond is Unbreakable representative joins in autumn, and a character hailing from JoJolion graces the roster in late winter.

Preceding this, the first season pass spotlighted four characters. Kicking off in October was Risotto Nero from Golden Wind. Shortly after, Rudol Von Stroheim from Battle Tendency made his entrance on February 3, followed by Keicho Nijimura from Diamond Is Unbreakable on March 24. The fourth addition, Alternate World Diego Brando from Steel Ball Run, launched on June 16.

Recent additions to the game included Weather Forecast and Father Pucchi (Final) from Stone Ocean, introduced as complimentary DLC characters last December. The game’s initial launch spanned PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam in September 2022.

Diversifying the game’s offerings, players can opt for the Standard Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, or the Collector’s Bundle. The Digital Deluxe Edition encompasses an Animation Special Event Color Set, the Season Pass, two exclusive costumes, and a two-day head start with all Season Pass characters. Meanwhile, the Collector’s Bundle boasts a 10-inch Jolyne Cujoh statue and an Animation Special Event Color Set.
Enhancing the gameplay experience, the title expands the character roster from 41 to 50, accompanied by system updates and a novel tag-team “Support Attack” system. Noteworthy is the game’s effort to match the voice cast from the various anime iterations since its inception—a task that extends beyond the original JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure anime. Spanning all eight arcs of Hirohiko Araki’s original manga, the game encompasses characters both animated and yet-to-be-adapted. Additionally, it includes Ikuro Hashizawa from Araki’s BAOH manga.
