India’s favorite animated supercop, Little Singham, is about to celebrate his birthday in grand style on August 15. As part of the joyous occasion, POGO, India’s leading homegrown kids’ entertainment channel, in collaboration with Rohit Shetty Picturez and Reliance Animation, has planned a month-long extravaganza that will have young fans glued to their screens.
Now in its sixth year, Little Singham continues to be an icon of bravery and determination for children across the nation. This year’s celebration is bigger than ever, with an exciting line-up of new ‘Little Singham’ episodes and even a fresh addition to the universe – ‘Baby Little Singham.’
Baby Little Singham Premieres on August 12
The newest entry into the Little Singham cosmos, ‘Baby Little Singham’, premieres on August 12 at 9:30 am. This daily show promises to transform the daycare into a whirlwind of fun-filled adventures, featuring the beloved character’s adorable baby avatar.
New Episodes and a 3D Telefeature
The original ‘Little Singham’ will continue to enthrall audiences with brand-new episodes airing from August 14-25. Highlighting the birthday festivities is the premiere of a brand-new 3D telefeature, ‘Little Singham Super Squad Hunter Ka Hahakar’, airing on August 15 at 1:30 pm.
Milestone for Indian Animation
Uttam Pal Singh, South Asia Head of Kids Cluster at Warner Bros. Discovery, spoke highly of Little Singham’s iconic status, expressing excitement for the new additions and emphasizing POGO’s commitment to homegrown original content.
Tejonidhi Bhandare, CEO, Reliance Animation, also expressed delight in the collaboration and the unique appeal of the character, promising that the baby version of Little Singham would be a top-quality addition to the universe.
Additional Telefeatures and Independence Day Messages
The celebration doesn’t end there, as POGO has scheduled the thrilling 2D telefeature ‘Andher Hawa Se Muqabla’ on August 19 and part three of the Little Singham Big Picture series on August 20.
Additionally, throughout August, POGO will air special Independence Day messages, inspiring patriotism in young viewers, led by Little Singham himself.
