In this original story penned by Yoshimasa Akamatsu (BD ~Akechi Tantei Jimusho, Corpse Party: Book of Shadows), Jigen becomes suspicious of his trusted Combat Magnum and embarks on a journey to Japan to find the world’s greatest gunsmith, who surprisingly runs a watch shop. Hajime Hashimoto (known for The Detective Is in the Bar franchise, AIBOU: Tokyo Detective Duo, Shimauma, Signal) is directing the action-packed movie.
Tamayama previously portrayed Jigen in the live-action 2014 Lupin III film, and he revealed that watching the anime film Lupin the IIIrd: Jigen’s Gravestone inspired him with its edgy, more mature atmosphere. He is excited to infuse this coolness into his portrayal in the new film. Fans can’t wait to see the cool, loyal, yet melancholic character brought to life once again in this thrilling adventure on the silver screen.
