Making Of The God Of Highschool Anime – Behind The Scenes MAPPA
The anime adaptation of Yongje Park’s popular webtoon series God of High School is one of the biggest hits of the current summer 2020 anime season thus far. Mappa is animating the series, with American anime streaming service Crunchyroll assisting in production. Crunchyroll has released a video for the hit battle anime making at MAPPA. The Video was released in July and I discovered it just now ( I can’t believe I had missed it).
The video shows what happens at MAPPA when they produce the anime. It also includes commentary from director Sunghoo Park and animation director Wataru Kawagoe, as well as creator Yongje Park. It also shows various processes on how they animated some of the show’s amazing fight sequences, and of course a bit of the motion capture processes as well.
