On Sunday, the official website for the TV anime adaptation of Nami Sano’s manga “Migi & Dali” (also known as “Migi to Dali”) revealed the final seven members joining the main cast.
Additionally, the website unveiled that the anime is set to premiere on October 2nd. The recently introduced cast members add further depth to the series, heightening anticipation for its debut.

The newly announced cast members are:
- Akira Sekine as Karen Ichijō
- Takashi Matsuyama as Osamu Sonoyama
- Kotono Mitsuishi as Yōko Sonoyama
- Romi Park as Reiko Ichijō
- Sumire Morohoshi as Metry
- Kimiko Saitō as Micchan
- Tokuyoshi Kawashima as Akira Ichijō
The anime is set to debut on the AT-X channel and the Amazon Prime Video service (in Japan) on October 2 at 10:00 p.m. (9:00 a.m. EDT). It will also have showings on the Tokyo MX and BS11 channels, along with various other streaming platforms.
Sano, known for creating “Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto,” introduced the manga in Kadokawa’s harta magazine in July 2017. The story, as described by Kadokawa, revolves around an angelic secret beneath the surface. The boy, named Hitori, enters the lives of a middle-aged couple devoid of parenthood’s blessings. His guardians are kind, residence ample, and meals warm. Yet, to safeguard the bestowed happiness, Hitori continues harboring a vital secret concealed from his caretakers.

Mankyū, known for works like PUCHIM@S, DD Fist of the North Star, and Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls Theater, is at the helm of directing the anime at Geek Toys. Mankyū also takes on responsibilities for the series scripts and serves as the sound director. CompTown joins in the animation production collaboration. Handling character design is Ayumi Nishibata, recognized for Otherside Picnic, who also holds the position of chief animation director. Overseeing the music composition is Hiroko Sebu, noted for I want to eat your pancreas.

Singer-songwriter Soraru and vocalist Rib collaborate to form the fresh unit “Soraru to Rib,” delivering the anime’s opening theme “Yūmagadoki.”

The manga by Sano reached its conclusion in November 2021, with the ultimate, seventh volume releasing in December 2021.
