The fate of the world rests in the hands of a duo of Parisian teenagers – but this time, on the big screen! Netflix India has announced the premiere of ‘Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir, The Movie’, on July 28th, available in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu dubs.
‘Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir’, also known simply as ‘Miraculous’ or ‘Ladybug’, is an acclaimed computer-animated magical girl superhero television series. The show is a multinational collaboration between Zagtoon, Method Animation, Toei Animation, and SAMG Entertainment, with notable participants such as TF1, AB Droits Audiovisuels, The Walt Disney Company, Gloob, SK Broadband, and EBS.
The animated series follows the adventures of two Parisian teenagers, Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste, who transform into the superheroes Ladybug and Cat Noir, respectively. Their mission? To protect their city from an array of supervillains.

‘Miraculous’ first debuted in France on 19 October 2015 on TF1’s TFOU, and then in South Korea on 1 September 2015 on EBS1. In the United States, the series initially appeared on Nickelodeon on 6 December 2015, before moving to the Disney Channel in April 2019. Meanwhile, audiences in the United Kingdom and Ireland enjoyed the show on the Disney Channel, from its premiere on 30 January 2016 until the channel’s closure on 30 September 2020, when all its content was transferred to Disney+.
