Mononogatari Manga Gets TV Anime Adaptation

Manga creator Onigunso confirmed on Thursday at their Twitter account the adaptation of their Mononogatari manga to the planned TV anime adaptation. Onigunso drew the following illustrations to commemorate the announcement.

“Monogatari”, which is serialized in Ultra Jump (Shueisha), is a young man who hates “Tsukumogami” who robbed an important person, and Kuna and Hyoma, who live together with “Tsukumogami”. A Japanese-style fantasy depicting the communal life of a famous girl, Nagatsuki Botan, who is loved as a family. Up to 12 volumes have been published, and the latest 13 volumes will be released tomorrow on November 19th.

In commemoration of the animation, illustrations and comments drawn by Onigunso arrived. Regarding anime, “I can’t imagine everything even if I draw it in manga, such as voice and movement, so I’m looking forward to seeing how it will show a new side as one of the viewers.” I expected.

Also, to commemorate the decision to animate, volumes 1 to 5 of “Monogatari” will be distributed free of charge. Jump +, Zeblack, Young Jump next door, Yangjan! It will be released on the app for two weeks from November 19th to December 3rd tomorrow.
