Mushoku no Eiyū Novel Series Gets TV Anime Adaptation

Author Shichio Kuzu and illustrator Yumehito Ueda’s novel series, “Mushoku no Eiyū: Betsu ni Skill Nanka Iranakattan da ga” (The Unemployed Hero Does Not Need Something Like Skills), is set to receive a television anime adaptation. This exciting news was announced via the official Twitter account for Comic Earth Star.

The novel series made its debut on the “Let’s Be Novelists” website (Shōsetsu-ka ni Narou) in November 2017. Subsequently, Earth Star Entertainment commenced the publication of the novels in July 2018. The fourth volume hit the shelves in June 2019.

Moreover, Akio Nanae undertook the task of adapting the story into manga form, with its serialization beginning in Comic Earth Star in November 2018. Fans can look forward to the seventh volume, scheduled for release on October 12, following the launch of the sixth compiled volume on May 12.

With an anime adaptation on the horizon, “Mushoku no Eiyū” is poised to captivate a whole new audience, bringing to life the tale of an unemployed hero and his journey in a world where skills may not be as vital as one might think.
